I believe in changing the world through simple acts of love.

I believe in the Golden Rule, and I believe that centuries of prominent religious leaders knew what they were preaching.

So far as language was concerned, they mostly paid attention to the pursuit of the aesthetic sense with figurative speech and allegory.

The Analects of Confucius and Lao Zi are terse and philosophical, Mengzi and Zhuangzi are vivid and smart, and Xun Zi and Han Feizi are argumentative and logical.

But most of all, I believe that all humans have an innate sense of morality, of what is right and wrong.

It is only by our free will that we ignore this sense.

Despite their philosophical value, these essays were also of a high literary quality and had a profound influence on later literary output.

Representative of these was a set of books entitled ' Four Books and Five Classics'.

The names of Confucius and Lao-Tzu are very well-known to those people who reveal interest to philosophy and religion.

This is primarily due to the fact that Confucius and Lao-Tzu have made an outstanding contribution to the growth of morality and their teachings provided people with a guide of an honest life.
